dairy-free butter, softened

tub of dairy-free cream cheese, softened
Violife works really well

powdered sugar

tsp
vanilla extract1 to 2 tbsp dairy-free milk
optional, to loosen if it's too thick
Instructions
Add the softened dairy-free butter and dairy-free cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat together until smooth and fully combined.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue mixing until creamy and well blended, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
If the frosting feels too thick, add dairy-free milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach a soft, spreadable consistency.
Spread over warm cinnamon rolls, cakes, or cupcakes and serve immediately.
Notes
Different dairy-free cream cheese brands can vary slightly in texture and tang
Violife gives a really smooth and balanced result
Always use softened ingredients for best consistency
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
Let it sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before using again so it softens back up
Not suitable for freezing
