Easy dairy free honey garlic chicken made as a slow cooker freezer meal. Simple pantry ingredients, family friendly, and perfect for busy weeknights!

Equipment

  • Gallon size freezer bag
  • Slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves of garlic diced, or about 2 tablespoons jar garlic
  • ½ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos for a soy-free option
  • ½ cup runny honey
  • 4 large chicken breasts or 4–6 skinless, boneless chicken thighs

Instructions

Freezer Meal Prep

  • Add the garlic, soy sauce, and honey directly into a gallon freezer bag.
  • Add the chicken breasts or thighs.
  • Seal the bag and gently mix until the chicken is well coated.
  • Lay flat and freeze.

Cooking Instructions

  • Thaw the freezer meal in the refrigerator overnight.Add the contents of the bag to the slow cooker.Cook on HIGH for 5–6 hours or LOW for 7–8 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
